HooRah!!!

There are many days when I wonder

Some days I just know

If only the clouds would roll back.

Dressed in white desperate for His face.

I am wanting, waiting, wanting.

Listen to me, O royal daughter; take to heart what I say.

Forget your people and your family far away.

For your royal husband delights in your beauty;

honor him, for he is your lord.

The princess of Tyre will shower you with gifts.

The wealthy will beg your favor.

The bride, a princess, looks glorious in her golden gown.

In her beautiful robes, she is led to the king,

accompanied by her bridesmaids.

What a joyful and enthusiastic procession as they enter the king’s palace!

Psalm 45:10-15 (New Living Translation)

He delights in my beauty. Not just puts up with me but delights.

Delight (according to www.m-w.com)

1: a high degree of gratification : joy ; also : extreme satisfaction
2: something that gives great pleasure
3 archaic : the power of affording pleasure

I give him extreme satisfaction and great pleasure.

I love HIM.

Ok Back to reality.
My buddy and 11 month long roommate is getting married on Saturday. We were supposed to be life partners but she met the man of her dreams so I suppose I will move on. I am so honored to have been asked to stand with her on this exciting day. I had no idea the amount of things that go into the planning of a wedding. I figured you buy a dress, pick a site, and a pastor and tada youre done. Apparently it is way more complicated. Oh and there are like a million blogs, websites and magazines designed to make your wedding even more expensive. Much more reason for me to continue to believe singleness is the way for me forever. Tomorrow we do the girly thing: nails, hair, eat food, drink and I dont know whatever else girls do when they hang out in packs before a wedding. Seems like such a wierd way to spend money.

Life in a hospital

Most days I love my job.

Highlights from life in a hospital

*I was groped and then serenaded by a very small, very crazy Ethiopian. He also drew me a lovely picture of a bread tree. If I had a scanner I would post it.

*I was yelled and told to leave the room for sneezing.

* I found the hottest tall Asian doctor but forgot to get his name so I have no hope of falling in love and marrying him.

* I was asked if the reason I was sent to that floor was punishment।

* The antiseptic smell of this place makes me nauseous.

*I have spent an entire day without peeing maybe more then once.

* Some days I feel more like a jail keeper then anything else.

* Occasionally I am proposed to usually by men over the age of 65.

* The extreme joy and gratification when I show up on a floor never gets old.

*People here tell me the most random things.

*I once got a huge bruise on my chest from a 60 y/o man who was prolly 5' and 120lbs.
